Took pictures at a charity dog show today for All Creatures Great and Small.  It was mayhem and the hall was really dark but I managed to get some nice general shots, closeups of individual dogs and shots of all the class winners with their prizes.  Some of the dogs were real fidgets, especially a 5 month old Papillon, but he was so cute it was well worth persevering tro get the picture.

Well I've just got back from photographing Ann and Wayne's wedding in Tonyrefail.  Having never been there before I decided to arrive nice and early.  I had no problems finding the church but I prefer to have plenty of time, and being rushed is one of my most hated things in life.  The pastor, Trevor, and his wife were fantastic and greeted me this morning with coffee and biscuits!

There were some great photo opportunities including a fantastic male voice choir, and they are one of the smiliest wedding parties I have ever photographed. 

Thankfully the rain held off and we were able to get all the group shots done on the edge of the golf course at Llantrissant Golf Club, with fantastic views of the hills and the Rhondda Valley in the background.  Simon and I are off camping in the Beacons tomorrow so I'm hoping the weather will be as nice, but sadly I think we will have to prepare ourselves to get wet.  I have just bought a new uber lightweight 2 man tent - a Gelert Mongoose 2 - weighing only 2.9KG (more space for beer) so I'm looking forward to trying it out.
